Playing what they know down town Northfield as people walking by stop to admire the wonderful music being played before them.

Bob is the teacher of this class teaching them how to make music.

Through days, weeks, maybe possibly months of practice, entertainment was brought to town that day.

Thanksgive

Welcome gens, lads, ladies, and gems!
To our annual shameless fundraiser

Everyone is welcome to come and expierence a night full of live entertainment that will keep you laughing the whole night through. Our theme this year was "Hello Goodbye."
We Heart Boys of Blue, from the blue adivisory performing a dance routine to the song "Never Gonna Give You Up" in compitition against all other adviories of Arcadia Charter School.

Blue Advisory's beggining skit as we say goodbye to Arech and welcome the new name change Arcadia. Based off of the ghost of christmas past.

Purple Advisiory's ending of their wonder live performance. Open to any donations as long as you choose purple.

Purple Advisory performance was based off of Go Dogs Go by Dr. Suess. Also, purple were this years winners to the coconut monkey, congrats :)

Just some more random ways to earn a little more extra cash by having a couple of our students cry, and wine, and complain, and scream, ect, until each person had atleast a hundred dollars. Keep in mind, this is a shameless fundraiser.

Our director Ryan of Acrcadia was presented with a card and a $300 gift to Babies R Us to show how much we all care and congratulate him on his new and first born child!

Careful for the very random theives that like to go around and steal ONLY backpacks filled with health homework, student desk, and little girls bff (bestfriends forever.) Just kidding, but it was another funny little part at Thanksgive.

CJ, a student here, is a talented person like everyone else, but his talent is the harp. The beautiful sound, mood changing affect, hearing and watching CJ play the harp was amazing and a talent many wish they had including me.

The dancing, not so much prancing, song from the lion king, was one thing that brought creativity in movement alive.

A funny little skit with a boy and a girl, or maybe its a girl then the boy, or maybe its both boys, no both girls???? Two adult babies arguing about if one another is male or female.

Middle school choir performing on stage infront of many others.

Say hello to the coconut monkey :)

Whooo! Field Trip!!

Delfos Danza Contempovanea

Our field trip was this, an amazing performance with dancers and unique forms of creative art. Just watching it reminded me of a music box, from the music choices to the display of the stage using video effects and lighting. We may not have been able to take pictures of the actual performers performing, but we do have some pictures of some very interesting peices of art work they had on for visitors to admire.
Art
Here are some wood carvings and a wrestling mask painted and/or designed.

Paintings like the bald eagle were shown hung up around the gallery to show the creativity that was put into each peice.
Clay pottery of bowls, plates painted nicely, and the music of maracas galore. :)
 Paper Mache
It's kind of hard to see, but this is the stage of the performance and the last picture that was able to be taken before it started.

The one's facing us are the performers.

Chandler's Project

Creativity at Arcadia
This is Chandler, a new student to our school. Just showing how creavtive people can be, Chandler has created a 'Deadmou5 head' for Halloween and school credit. With days and hours off effort, he was able to start from many different pieces of useful things and scrap to creating a work of art.

Stop Bullying!

We are Anti-Bullies!

 Stop bullying convention day!
Our school shows its support to those who want or need bullying to stop. Know people care.

Our support was to wear orange to show our hatred towards bullies.
Just remember, everyone has feelings and words can hurt just as much as taking a hit. Friends will always be there for you and help stop the pain.
Teachers and family are also always there for you, so if you are being bullied, please get help, and if you are the bully, just STOP!

Fun at Arcadia!

Meeting the National Guard

Having the National Guard come visit a school for rock climbing, racing, and training doesn't happen often, but knowing Arcadia school, it was bound to happen.
Rock climbing in the school parking lot was so awesome for all students and teachers to participate in.
For about the whole afternoon, if you had no classes, this would be something people would like to do.

Climbing the wall was scary if your affraid of heights, but on the bright side, extremely safe.

The school you never want to leave.

If we were able to make it through 3 to 5 minutes of wunning, push ups, crunches, and a few more things, we were able to feel pride in ourselves, and get a free t-shirt.
We are one school where the victory is ours!
 Our math teacher, Go Lindsey!
 Setting up,
and slidding down :)
